Sylvia has been working with Dr. Mahoney’s team since 1986. She is the smiling face that greets patients when they arrive for appointments. Sylvia also looks after scheduling, treatment plans and sorting out insurance benefits.
In her free time Sylvia enjoys spending time with friends and loves to cook, trying new recipes out at impromptu dinner parties. Yoga is a passion as well as Maggie and Fergus, the two wonderful doggies she shares with her husband Tim.
Alicia – RDA
Alicia graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, BC in 2006. She started working with Dr. Mahoney and team in 2010. Alicia enjoys horseback riding, quadding and camping. She lives on a farm outside of Wetaskiwin with her husband Chris and their two dogs Riley and Dixie.
Deb has worked as a part time receptionist with Sylvia since 2009. She enjoys the office environment of positivity and teamwork. Two other casual/part-time positions in Wetaskiwin, as well as various volunteer opportunities keep Deb busy and involved in the community. Deb is the Mom of two adult boys, Blair and Brian and the adopted Mom of Oreo, Kiwi and Kai, three rescue kitty cats and Gracie, her golden retriever.
Lori – RDA
Lori joined Dr. Mahoney’s team in 1992 as a sterilization assistant. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program in 1994 from NAIT. She enjoys working alongside Dr. Mahoney creating beautiful smiles and making fun memories. She loves the small town community feeling of Wetaskiwin that allows her to really get to know her patients and their needs. She was born and raised in Wetaskiwin and she does not have any plans to leave. She enjoys travelling with her husband Clyde and son Eric to hot destinations, relaxing with a good book and spending warm summer nights on the deck.
